VK: Ok.... I may be WAY out of line here, since I don't do anything
for the community, but you're almost completley, 100%
wrong.
The people at mREV aren't there as a gang, or a club,
or because of warez, or because they're thugs, or any other retarded
thing you've said. Simply put, birds of a feather flock together.
It's a place where the best and brightest creators can go to hang
out with the other best and brightest creators... moreover, they
don't have to deal with the average retarded-ness of the average
DEVer to DO so. Why's that? Because sunboy doesn't ALLOW it. Guess
what? The board is the most intelligent and flame free board I've
ever SEEN. There are rules, but he almost didn't have to post them.
Flames are banned, but there's no need for it. No one flames there
anyway, because no one is a constant idiot.
Sunboy doesn't
stab people in the back, or bribe them, or lead them, or taunt them,
or anything. Shank is just a group of intelligent and talented
friends discussing their favorite hobbies, among other
things.
Finally, you quit three years ago and persist in
holding up an umbrella to protect the idiocy that plagues this
board. You do even less for the community than I do. At least I try
to shoo the blackest of the crows away, not give them a place to
roost safely.
Dont be jealous just because your board is
falling apart and almost worthless, and sunboy's is growing strong
and has all the best stuff. I'm tired of people accusing sunboy of
being everything from a thug to a loser just because he made a place
that's run right and doesn't allow people to be monkeys.
So
in closing, you can lick my balls VK, if I may be
graphic.
Robogeminis: You were intelligent and making sense
for like the first week you were here, then it just kind of fell
apart. Your opinion DOESN'T matter, because all you ever say is
"let's hold hands and be friends and not say anything when someone

Cleveland? I think it's more the size of Mars. I'm glad that that
little shot of mine got him out in the open. My malice is renewed,
doubled, and completely and thoroughly justified.
For your
amusement, here are the misconceptions and assumptions by the great,
honorable VK:
-The name people flame. The person everyone
hates. Because I don't release my work to the public.
-posting
unnecessary flames, harassing individuals, constantly attempting
takeovers of channels and running amok when bestowed moderator
status.
-Even though I quit three years ago.
-If there's
anything the majority of MUGEN "Revolution" does together it's
flaming and causing trouble. Reading over some of the asinine posts
on this thread alone only supports my argument.
-Sunboy and his
flaming mentor R________.
-I sometimes wonder if he targets me
because I don't want to associate with MUGEN "Revolution".
-From
his flames it's almost like telling me, "you will join me or I will
make you suffer".
-Sunboy [...] the kind of person that uses
people and constantly stabs them in the back, bribing them [...]
with warez or MUGEN characters [...]. I know for a fact that many
MUGEN "Revolution" members do this.
-People like me aren't into
MUGEN to show off, to see whose work is better

day, I hear something of the majority of members from MUGEN
"Revolution" badmouthing me.
-Why does he insist on trying to get
in contact with me?

That's
just up to the first "--." I'm too jaded to go through the

his, all that ran through my head was "this guy thinks he's the
world to everyone" because he seems to know EVERYTHING about
EVERYONE, even though "I would never know since I don't even look at
the MUGEN scene anymore."

see, the problem is that some great creators have bad social skills.
We cannot change that, and banning them would probably be considered
to be a sin to the mugen community.
I think that we have to just
live with it.

people tend to want to flame, i guess they think that it is
exciting. look at all the locked topics, people who start those
topics *usually* want to start a flame war. I might be wrong, some
people might join, but I guess there only one way to find out....

let's create a
challenge for you guys who are in constant flame wars. I know it has
been done before, but:
Can we go without flaming for a week
or so? or atleast count howmany flame wars occur within a week? if
you think that an edit is really bad, then tell the person how
he/she can fix it, don't just insult their creations. I think that
this would be a start. You know, just look at the bright side of
everything....

Why can't we live in peace? It's the same reason a messy person and
a clean person can't live together in the same room in peace.
Neither is wrong, neither is right. You think we're harsh and mean,
and your brand of idiocy and nigh incoherent posts burns our brains.
That's just the way things are. Instead of futilely banning flames
or immaturely banning people, we should at least have a place where
we can duke it out when it comes to that. If you don't think general
discussion is the place to do it, then create a flaming forum where
we can. Total peace can never be acheived.

What the hell, I have a bit of time...
I will not go over
what VK said again... point for point, I mean. I will just explain
why I think sunboy posted my name in that list, asides from other
things.
I dislike how this place is run. I dislike where this
place is run. But what can I do about those two? I can email the
admins and request that action be taken against some people, but
they usually do their job. I can't donate money (I'm in Mexico and
can't use a credit card) to improve this board and remove the
pop-ups.
But that doesn't mean that I have to flame everyone
everytime. I don't really like to flame, even though I've done it in
the past, and I do not deny my mistakes... I do contribute a bit,
and some of that work has been done to increase my ego (see the
incident with O Ilusionista about him not announcing my version of
the KOF2K1 Mexico stage at MGBR to see what I mean; that went
WAAAAAAY out of hand by my part), but mostly it's because I HAVE
FUN. My life is crap, school is crap, I barely have friends. But I
enjoy doing this.
I've been here since 00731... and I've only
received ONE EMAIL saying thanks. And that was about a week ago. So
much for my ego getting stroked (I think that is the correct
phrase). I could never be a part of MRev, at least as much as the
current members are. Because I'm too nice to be one. I'm good
friends with Shin Samanosuke, even though a lot of them hate him. He
knows that and trusts me... though I'm sure that it's not
completely.
I'll be bluntly honest for a moment: I don't give
a flying f u c k about you, VK. I know you are one of the most well
known people in Mugen, and have heard things about you. But know
what? I don't care about them. I did want to contact you about some
of your code in Deuce's Geese, but I haven't had the time. I think I
won't be able to after this incident.
I guess that 90% of Rev
accepts, no, TOLERATES me because I show that my IQ is not too low.
I think. I don't steal code, I try to be polite, and I do take stabs
at all of them, but I don't flame. I ain't the smartest person
around, but I try to help out anyone that needs it.
*sigh*
This post has grown out of proportions... Mugen isn't my favorite
hobby. Reading and Romhacking are my
priorities, my FIRST hobbies. Mugen is just a way to get away from
those things. I've made good friends around here. People that are
part of the NDO. What they do in this board isn't my problem. I just
talk to the people and be friendly.
Oh, I left #mugen because
I didn't like the way it was... I don't have anything against ops,
users, or whatever in there - the content of the conversations,
though, that I did have a problem with. I dare say that the only
time I EVER received advice on programming was when I was making my
first three stages; everything after that revolved around #bearcave,
whatever that was. I rarely get on IRC anymore; only at Polymer City
Chronicle's channel.
So... to sum it up. You, VK, are a
person I don't care about. Herman is trying to fix the things here,
but his actions alone won't do much. Even mass banning whoever is an
"instigator", to use Rags' words, wouldn't help. Because sooner or
later, someone else will not like the way this place is
run.
So that's it, I guess. I will keep posting until I get
banned. I won't flame, though. That isn't for me to do.
